xxxHOLiC: Ep 7

Drama ReviewsJapanese Dramas

This is now my favorite episode!!!!!!!  Every single moment I was flailing over how AWESOME and PERFECT this episode is!!!!!!  I was mainly smiling throughout the whole episode because I was so happy to watch it.  But I was also tearing up at some parts and shocked at other parts.  I suppose this is the most emotional episode yet, which is why it really drove home for me.

xxxHOLiC: Ep 1

Drama ReviewsJapanese Dramas

I cannot believe my luck this jdrama season!!!!!!!  Another great drama to add to my watching list! 😀  And if you’re going, “xxxholic”?  Isn’t that that manga by CLAMP?  YES, YES IT IS.  PLUS this isn’t a cheesy live action with an idol cast!!!  Also if you haven’t seen the anime, you can still watch the live action all the same because it’s awesome. 😀

Anticipated jdramas: Winter 2013

Drama News / Upcoming DramasJapanese Dramas

Although I hyped up the j-drama fall season of 2012, it turned out to just be…ok.  There were, of course, wonderful underrated gems like Hitorishizuka and Going My Home.  There was your above average yet not absolutely amazing dramas such as Osozaki no Himawari, Kekkon Shinai, and Sarutobi Sansei.  And yes, there was the crap that was not worth watching.  Won’t mention any titles there.   Anyways I am looking forward to a clean slate in the winter season.  Got any upcoming jdramas that I didn’t mention here?  Comment down below! 😉

What’s New?

-Quartet ep4: Seems like the drama is focusing on one character's story in each episode. Now that we've gotten to see each main character's background story, I wonder what direction the drama will take. Each episode leaves me still impressed with each lead actor...seriously. Matsuda Ryuhei is 100% Beppu here. I even forget that Beppu is acted by Matsuda Ryuhei when watching his character!

-Kamenashi Kazuya, Kimura Fumino, and Yamashita Tomohisa will be starring in an upcoming spring jdrama called Boku, Unmei no Hito desu. Kamenashi and Yamashita are reuniting again, after their popular roles in the high school drama Nobuta wo Produce.

-EVERYONE. I highly recommend watching the Taiwanese romance movie Our Times, starring Vivian Sung, Dino Lee, and Darren Wang. It is TOOOOO GOOD. It's your usual high school-first-love-story but it does it SO WELL. GOOO WATCH IT.

-On an indefinite hiatus.
