I actually rewatched this entire episode to recap it, and not one moment felt dull. That’s how good BBJX is. You just want to rewatch it over and over.
Omg. Episode 17 is such a great episode. Finally, the bomb is dropped! Crown Prince wants to get married to Ruo Xi! Ruo Xi can no longer avoid the subject of marriage! I screencapped so much during this episode that my hand is tired. T_T
These few episodes were pretty epic. Everything has basically become a blur. I took so many screencaps that it took such a super long time to add them all into this post. T_T For one thing, we finally get over the hurdle of 8th/Ruo Xi. And another thing, we get more 4th/Ruo Xi scenes plus a cute Min Min/13th scene.
Episode 7 picked up pace with more light-hearted humor. I’m soaking up all the funny moments because I know there’s lots of angst to come. I think the drama has a good balance of politics-angst-humor-cute moments-shippy moments which is hard to achieve. The cinematography continues to be amazing, and the music makes it all the more beautiful.
BBJX is still delivering the same high quality as the first episode. It has a lighter tone due to all the funny scenes with 10th bro. Still watching in HD, although it takes about twice as long to watch due to slow buffering. IT IS WORTH IT!
I wasn’t really expecting much from Bu Bu Jing Xin, thinking it’d be just another Jade Palace Lock Heart. BUT IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL. I’m going to mention a lot of differences between JPLH and BBJX, not to be hating on JPLH (because I DID get quite addicted to that too), but to point out how amazing and compelling BBJX is. Not to say that you shouldn’t try JPLH, as it simply depends on what you enjoy in a drama.
