Yes, it’s finally here. Part of me really didn’t want to write this because I didn’t want it to end. But part of me also knows that I have to get this out into writing eventually. Let’s finally tie up the loose ends of BBJX and try to say goodbye to the characters we all grew to love.
I know this recap is way overdue so here it finally is. I put off recapping this for a long time for a few reasons. First off I really needed a break from BBJX because it’s just so sad and I don’t even want it to be over. Also this is THE episode where everything literally ENDS so I didn’t quite have the heart to recap it just yet. Annnd I’ve also watched this episode so many times that I can recite it to you like the back of my hand. I’ve literally watched it at least 10 times. That being said, this is a heartwrenching episode, especially because it involves my favorite couple, 14th & Ruo Xi.
Surprisingly 2011 offered my two most favorite c-dramas ever. Tw-dramas stepped it up, but CHINA. OMG. China really hit it big with Bu Bu Jing Xin AND Strange Hero Yi Zhi Mei..BOTH with Liu Shi Shi as the leading lady. Liu Shi Shi really hit the jackpot. Unfortunately I don’t have tons of c-dramas to review..since…I only watched a few. The problem is that c-dramas are hard to find subbed so I can’t watch as many as I’d like to.
Obviously, after episode 32, there is no way that episode 33 is happy. It’s anything but happy. There’s LOTS AND LOTS OF ANGST, so don’t say I didn’t warn you. Sorry for the lack of updates, but this is such a weighty, huge episode that it’s hard to write it all out. That and I don’t even want my BBJX recaps to end. :'(
-There are plenty of upcoming period c-dramas to keep an eye out for. Check them out here. Includes Lost Time In Love, Win the World, Nirvana in Fire 2, and more.
-I finally checked out the ancient fantasy cdrama, Three Worlds Three Lives Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms, also known as Eternal Love. Read my first impressions review of episodes 1-7 here and my review of episodes 8-13 here.
-On an indefinite hiatus.
