About

Hi, I’m heisui.

I first made My Drama Tea on a whim in 2011.ย  The name of my blog is just something I randomly thought of off the top of my head, but later on I made the connection between tea and dramas because, guess what, both of them are addicting.ย  ๐Ÿ˜› *lame attempt to relate the two together*ย  My username, ‘heisui’ was also created on a whim a really long time ago.

I first started out drama blogging without much of a direction.ย  I had vague aspirations to be like one of those ‘big 3’ drama blogs but eventually, I realized I wanted to write more about lesser known dramas rather than writing about all the super popular dramas.ย  I didn’t want to contribute to the chatter about dramas that already had enough people talking about them, but rather, I wanted to talk about the ones that were rarely being discussed.ย  I feel that there are already plenty of kdrama bloggers out there, so I tend to focus on Japanese, Chinese, and Taiwanese dramas instead.

Where can you read more about me?

I tend to keep most of my blog posts drama-related.ย  But you can find random posts more about my personal thoughts in my “Heisui’s Thoughts” section.

How can you support My Drama Tea?

Comment, subscribe, and like posts!ย  Follow me on Twitter or Google+ and share my reviews!ย ย  Everyone’s support really means a lot to me.ย  I could not do this without all my great readers.ย  Thank you in advance.ย  ๐Ÿ™‚

What’s New?

-EVERYONE. I highly recommend watching the Taiwanese romance movie Our Times, starring Vivian Sung, Dino Lee, and Darren Wang. It is TOOOOO GOOD. It's your usual high school-first-love-story but it does it SO WELL. GOOO WATCH IT.

-On an indefinite hiatus.
