Everything LongShi: Wedding Photos, Invitations and a Duet Song

Chinese DramasDrama News / Upcoming Dramas

As you may have heard by now, Liu Shi Shi and Nicky Wu have been officially married since January 2015.  Since then they were unable to hold a marriage ceremony due to their busy schedules.  They will be holding their long-awaited wedding ceremony on March 20, 2016 in Bali, Indonesia.  So, this is a post devoted to everything LongShi!

LongShi for Marie Claire

Nicky and Liu Shi Shi did a playful couple photo shoot for Marie Claire earlier this year.  A couple of the pictures are quirky, and they set the tone for some of their funny wedding photos.

If you enjoyed this photo shoot, I highly recommend you watch the Behind the Scenes footage.  These two are just too cute, omg.

Wedding Photos

Liu Shi Shi and Nicky released a slew of official pre-wedding photos in March.  The photos were taken in New Zealand.  According to Stuff.co.nz, the couple went to the Waitomo Glowworm Caves with photographer Liy Zongyuan and a crew of 25 people.  They shot for over 10 hours at the caves.  Wow.

Below are my favorite pictures from their wedding photos:

And here’s the rest of their wedding photos.  You may notice that Nicky is holding a bag of chips in one of the pictures…and he was holding a bag of chips in his Marie Claire photo shoot.  Is there some kind of meaning to the chips?  And I gotta say, I also love how that picture shows Liu Shi Shi flashing her jeans beneath her wedding dress.  😀

Wedding Invitations

The couple sent out their wedding invitations.  Pictures of the invitations and the wedding gifts have surfaced on Weibo.  The invitations feature a pale blue and white theme, and include some of the couple’s wedding photos.  As you can see on some of the cards, there is a white magnolia flower, which was in Bu Bu Jing Xin!  Love the symbolism there!

Duet: “Hand in Hand” by Liu Shi Shi and Nicky Wu

And if all these photos weren’t enough for you….LongShi even released a duet song.  They will be releasing an MV for the song in the future!

Behind the Scenes: MV

Congratulations to Liu Shi Shi and Nicky Wu!  It feels so surreal to think that these two will be walking down the aisle so soon, especially since I first saw them together way back in Bu Bu Jing Xin.  😀

  • Best wishes to the two of them! The duet is pretty cute, though not all that memorable. I guess it makes up for the fact that they didn’t do a duet for Bu Bu Jing Xin, though. xD

  • they look cute together; it’s funny how nicky is like a lil kid goofing off and she’s like just watching him….i would think that they would be goofing off together, but as long as they’re happy that’s all that matters. and congrats on the newlyweds :]
