Anticipated jdramas: Fall 2012 PREVIEWS

Drama News / Upcoming DramasJapanese Dramas

I’m getting more and more impatient for the new fall jdrama season to start!!  You might recall that I posted an initial “anticipated jdramas: Fall 2012” a while back.  I figured I might as well post a new one containing video previews instead of adding them into the first post so you all wouldn’t miss them! The previews have only made me more excited!

Note that I’m only including previews that actually interested me.  More specifically, I mentioned Ooku in my first post but am leaving it out in this one because the preview didn’t catch my attention at all.

Kekkon Shinai (starring Amami Yuki, Kanno Miho)

“Case 1: The woman who wants to marry but can’t.  I’m a woman who can marry if I try hard.

Case 2: The woman who chose not to marry.  Rather than giving up, I chose not to [get married].”

Jdramas tend to aim for that fresh, clean feel in their CM’s, so the preview for Kekkon Shinai isn’t really anything new.  But it looks like so much FUN!!!  And even though Amami Yuki is yet again the usual strong, independent heroine, I can’t help but be excited about seeing her in a new drama!  Also, paired with Kanno Miho, Kekkon Shinai has the potential to be awesome.

Osozaki no Himawari ~ Boku no Jinsei, Renewal

This preview is OOZING with Ikuta Toma’s charm.

Tokyo Airport ~ Tokyo Kuukou Kanseihoanbu

This is one of the previews that really didn’t do anything for me.  It doesn’t really give you a really good feel for what the drama will be like because it’s almost TOO clean cut and simple.  So I will check out this drama to see where it’s going; hopefully it will bring something new to the table.

Sarutobi Sansei

Sorry, there’s no video preview for this one!!! But the stills look so AWESOME that I had to include it!!!!!!  I don’t want to get my hopes up but it looks like NHK is putting in a good amount of effort for its NINJA DRAMA.  THAT’S RIGHT, NINJA DRAMA.  Please let there be decent action and awesome ninjas!!!
